Inviting your team
Staff are invited, not imported — each person creates their own account and gets exactly the pages and actions you grant them, no more.
Open this page in the appYour receptionists, nurses and accountants don't register the way patients and doctors do, and they aren't bulk-imported the way patients can be — each one accepts an invitation and creates their own account.
Why invited rather than imported
An imported row is a person nobody can sign in as until they accept an invitation anyway — so importing saves typing a name and email, and nothing else. It also has to go right in two fields that matter: hire date and salary drive attendance and payroll, and both are far more likely to be correct when the employee enters them, not when they're typed into a spreadsheet column by someone else.

Permissions, page by page
Access is granted per page, not as one all-or-nothing "staff" switch. Granting an action implies being able to view it — giving someone "appointments: create" also gives them "appointments: view", because creating something you cannot see makes no sense.
Clinical data is a separate permission from front-desk data
A receptionist can be given "patients: view" — names, phone numbers, appointment history — without being given "patients: view medical", which covers diagnoses and clinical notes. Only roles that actually need clinical access (nurse, doctor, admin presets) grant it by default. Without that permission, the clinical fields are never sent to that person's screen at all — there's nothing in the page for them to see, not just something hidden by the interface.
Role presets — receptionist, nurse, accountant and so on — fill in a sensible starting grid for a role. They're a starting point, not a mode: every box stays editable after applying one, so you can hand someone the "receptionist" preset and then also grant them one extra page without switching them to a different role.
If someone already works at your clinic without permissions set
An employment record from before permissions existed shows as "permissions not set" rather than as either fully open or fully closed — deliberately, so nothing is silently granted. Open their card and choose what they should see.
